Paul, owner of Beermiscuous, has asked us to co-host their first ever Open Mic-ro Night! Paul writes, "The gist of the event is an open invitation for any home brewer to bring in their selected home brew, present to the audience their inspiration/recipe/process/tasting, and then obtain official BJCP feedback forms from audience members who will also learn from our Cicerone how to evaluate and provide constructive feedback. So a great education forum for both brewer and audience."
Their inaugural Open Mic-ro Night is Thursday, August 7th (and then every 1st Thursday of the month thereafter). I realize it's two days before our summer BrewBQ so I'm asking CHAOS members two things:
(1) Would you participate by bringing a few bottles of your brew?
(2) would you participate by simply going to the event? (Paul says it's totally cool if people show up without beer and just want to be part of the beer-judging/learning audience).

That's okay, Brock! Paul says that it is perfectly fine to come without your own brew. He wants this to be a good learning experience on getting feedback (for those who brewed) as well as on giving feedback (for those who didn't).
Sounds like a cool event! I'd love to come, bring some beer, and get some good notes on it. How much do we need to bring?

For the "opening night" of this event, Paul would like everyone to have a taste of all the beers people bring. So, he suggests a 6-pack. Obviously, if this event is a hit and more and more people start showing every month, we'll have to change how it's done (we obviously can't be bringing in a case of beer each).
If you don't have six bottles, just bring what you can.

I am planning on printing out some CHAOS stuff and bringing it with me to the event. But I'm out of cards, if someone can grab some from the brewhouse and bring them, that would be great!

I won't have a chance to swing by the brewhouse, but I've got a small handful (about 20ish) of our cards that I'll bring.
I'll be there and have a small stack of cards and am printing out fliers for the party right...meow.
