I just wanted to Introduce myself. I'm Jonathan. I'm moving to chicago in February. Looking to get involed with my local Hombrew Club.
A little about me. I've been hmebrewing for almost 10 years now. I was a crazy guy and started all-grain. I have spent the last 4 years brewing on a More beer 15 gallons single teir HERMS with two heated and cooled conical fermentors. My system has been put ito storage until I find a place to put it to good use.
Right now my idea is too brew one gallon american wild ales, I have been making sour beers for the last year and half very sucessfully ( I think I had a magic sour barrel) Maybe some strange beers
I was really active in my old homebrew club , I ran the NHC commitee for 2011 and 2012 San Deigo and Seattle Club nights ( We didn't do club night in 2013 o 2014), I would help do festival set up , and do anything if they needed hel. I really looking to make homebrewing friends and hopefully start homebrewing again in the near future.

Keep an eye on our events and brewing calendars; you can stop by whenever someone's brewing to check the place out. Definitely make it out to a monthly meeting to introduce yourself in person.

So When are the Monthly meetings? Also do you know any plans about NHC. I go every year so this will be my 5th year going.
We hold most of our events, workshops/classes, and meetings at our brew house (we pride ourselves on our brewhouse; we're the only club we know of who has their own brewing facilities and who doesn't just merely brew in someone's back yard and share in someone's kitchen). 2417 W. Hubbard St. in Chicago's West Town neighborhood.
Not only are we going to NHC but we're presenting there!

They're usually the 1st Sunday of the month but watch the events calendar. February's meeting will probably change due to the superbowl; they may change to a weekday at some point.
