Barrel Aging and Blending Program
We also have a barrel aging program, where groups of members get together to learn about and try aging and blending of beers.
Classes and Education
CHAOS has ongoing classes ranging from our monthly beer style education and BJCP judging, to other odd topics such as stir plates, cider, and meadmaking.
Quarterly Member Parties
Our quarterly private events feature the homebrew of our members and allow everyone to showcase their recent creations while meeting and hanging out with other beer aficionados.
Dedicated Brewhouse
One of the unique benefits of the CHAOS brew club is access to our dedicated brew house, with all of the equipment you could ever need, as well as fun and knowledgeable company to help you brewing.

CHAOS, the Chicago Homebrew Alchemists of Suds, is a coalition of home-brewers, beer aficionados, and enthusiasts in the Chicago, IL area that strives to cultivate appreciation of the science and culture of beer through education, exploration, and community. For this Summer's Member Appreciation party, we are teaming up with the grill-masters behind Brimstone BBQ, a side gig for the local sludge rock band Rabbid Rabbit. We are stoked to be pairing CHAOS homebrews with the Best Barbecued Brisket in Chicago (Reader, Best of Chicago 2012.)
