Omega Purge

IN an attempt to start fresh with Homebrew orders. Omega Yeast is throwing out all existing packs of homebrew. I will bring all the statins to the club tonight after work. They are free to all take what you’d like but note some maybe old(er than others) they range in 1 month old to 2 weeks. Happy brewing.

Wow, thanks, Bianca!!

Completely awesome! Thanks!

Woohoo@

Ok they are at the brew house. Lower numbers on the bottom Brett’s on top. Sorry it’s all unorganized happy brewing.

Thanks! That’s amazing

Jay and I took a qucik inventory (approx) and boxed them up in a semi-order and put them in the main lager fridge. Here's the rundown:

Bretts- 30+

Saison - 40

Belgian A and W - 25

Americanj Farmjhouse - 15

Bayern Lager - 15

Brit Ale - 15

West Coast - 15

Hothead - 10

Heff - 15

That's a lot of fucking yeast so come and get em

Wow, that's incredible.  Thanks, Bianca!  Why is Omega getting rid of these?

We moved into the new building and stopped filling homebrew orders about 2 weeks before the move. So instead of taking an inventory of all the homebrew packs we have Lance just said throw them all out and start over. It was just easier for him to ‘restart’ then have someone count them all. (We are extremely short handed at the moment) and homebrew orders will be fresh to order now as well

Given this yeast bonanza, I think I'm changing my brewing plans for tomorrow and brewing a Vienna Lager for the Cervaza de Mayo party instead, using four of the lager packs.

And thanks again, Bianca!

Of course! And thanks to Sean and Jay for organizing all that!

Bianca, this is unreal! Thanks so much!

Maybe we should put a sign out like the neighbors who aren't home for Halloween and put out a basket of candy ... "save some for the rest of the kids behind you .... "

I would also like to point out that Omega Purge would make a sick band name.

While I was waiting for my mash, I dumped all the Omega yeast packs out and repacked them so that they are standing upright the labels are on top.  They're not in order, but you can see what the packs are now.

Daymn!  That's awesome Bianca!  THANK YOU!!

This is incredible, thank you so much Bianca (and Omega)!

Holy Crap! Thank you Bianca!

FYI, there is still a lot of yeast left.  I moved it to the fridge by the garage door, in two smaller boxes.  There are a lot of farmhouse, wild blend, saison, hefeweisen and Belgian ale yeasts available.
