CHAOS,
By now everyone has heard that I will be moving to Nashville in a few short weeks. Before I make my way south I want to get together with everyone for one last big brewhouse blowout.
I am doing my damnest to slim down my cellar before I leave and figure what better way than to share some of the treats I have collected over the past 3 years than with my brewing buddies. I have gathered over 3 cases of cellared craft beer and some barrel aged homebrew so far with more to come. I plan on brinigng all this to share with everyone on Saturday Night August 23rd starting at 6PM.
I should be bringing enough goodies to supply the entire party so don't worry too much about raiding your own cellars for this one. With that said there will be serveral hundred dollars worth of bottles getting cracked and I am moving to a new city without many of the big ticket items needed to keep my brewing game up (thanks to CHAOS for having all that equipment at my disposal the last 3 years). If anyone feels so inclined a few bucks would go a long way towards the beers and helping me get up to speed with my brewing gear.
Some of the treats getting opened include a 4 year vertical of Boulevard Saison Brett, 4 year vertical of Bell's Expidition Stout, barrel aged this and that, bottles from almost every barrel project we have done and lot's of other great random craft beers. I will update here with specific things as I gather them. I hope lots of you guys can make it out. Looking forward to getting rowdy at CHAOS one last time.
