Ingredients: 

6 lbs Maris Otter
1.5 lbs Victory
.75 lbs Crystal 80
0.5 lbs Pale Chocolate Malt
.5 lbs Oat Flakes
.25 lbs Roasted Barley (Peruvian)
1 lbs honey (reduced/burnt down from 2 lbs) into boil at 5
1.4m oz Cascade Pellets at 45
.25 oz Chinook Pellets 15
2 Vanilla Beans Cut Up into 3oz Rye Whiskey for 7 Days

Procedure: 

Mash with 2.5 gallons at 154F for 20 minutes, increasing temp to 160F for 40 minutes. Into 3 gallon carboy.

Fermentation: 

Poured on S-04 trub from previous Choco Loco beer (MO/Victory/PaleChocolate/Saaz). Strong ferment within 6 hours at 65F. Primary for one week, then rack to 2nd for a week, then to 3rd. Then add vanilla mix to 3rd. Bottled on 12-1-12.
