Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone had any information on hop growing. My Dad and I are going to plant some on our farm in Wisconsin soon. The type of soil is black loam with a clay base underneath. Does anyone know if their are specific hops that grow best in this soil? I have been doing some research but have not come up with a specific type of hop. Thanks for your help and knowledge:)

You might want to reach out to Dave (David is his username). If I remember he has a farm south of the city that he grows hops on. I know he would probably have a wealth of info. Just incase he doesn't see this right away :)
