Hey all.
I'm new to brewing and just recently took a class at Brew Camp. I have time to give and experience to gain. I'm just wondering if any brewers out there need any help brewing a batch or bottling. I'd love to help out and gain some hand on experience. I want to start brewing most beer I drink but would love to lend my time to someone who has done a few susccesful batches before I jump in. Please let me know if anyone plans to brew soon and if I can help in any way! Thank in advance.

No need to observe. Jump right in!
Go grab an extract kit ($30+/-) and fermenter/airlock ($10-15). Good way to learn the process, all ingredients pre measured & easy to follow instructions included. And you'll have 5 Gallons of beer, to boot.
James and I will be up there Monday the 23rd around 9:30, come brew.
Bianca, I'm gonna brew a Kolsch. You're more than welcome to co-brew this with me.
This will be an all grain batch and I can explain as we go along.

Yussss, we need people like you! I would recommend taking a look at our brewhouse calendar here and checking out who's brewing next. Send them a PM and ask if you can watch. If you're a trial member set up a time to brew and post here for your first supervision. Tuesday Brewsdays and our parties are also great ways to get into the mix.

We have two monthly brews where you can help out (and/or brew a batch for yourself) when there's a team of members in the brew house
To get to know the members and socialize we have Stout and Chili Night in a week and a half (1/28), an Alt Bier Brewing Competition and PIzza Party coming up on 2/10 and our monthly General Membership Meeting and Bottle Share every month (next one is on 2/12),
Reed's instinct is correct. February Tuesday Brewsday will be on the 7th because it's:
A) sooner after stout/chili night
B) Mike has a significant other
But if you want to spend Feb 14th inside a concrete warehouse hoping that alcohol and sugar with fill your empty soul, I can do a supervisory brew then.
Thank you everyone. I am planning on brewing Monday at 9:30 with James and AJ. I even brewed my first one gallon today! It's fermenting as I type. I plan on going to the stout/chili night this weekend. Maybe I'll get to meet a few of you. Perhaps even sign up to do my own solo ( supervised ) brew with one of you! Thanks again all for being so welcoming!
