Nancy Rockwood, of CHAOS Brew Club and ALULU Brewpub will demo a homebrew of an American honey wheat ale, a recipe that she developed for ALULU that is now on tap at the new Pilsen Brewpub.

Liz Garibay, Executive Director of The Chicago Brewseum, will shed some light on women and their roles in history of developing the sudsy beverage. There will also be other women who work in the industry attending, Jenny Pfäfflin of Cicerone Certification Program and Dovetail Brewery, Sara Hagerty of Malteurop, formerly of White Labs, Lindsey Stocks from Around the Bend Beer Co. ... and many others!
We want to promote and encourage more women to lead in the industry, whether that is brewing, pouring, selling, educating, or owning... Chat, talk, and mingle with strong positive women leaders in craft. Snacks will be provided, but please feel free to BYOB your favorite beer to share with others.
