Cleaning old kegs.

Picked up a bunch of kegs that were sitting around for a long time. They've got a film on the inside that's pretty gross and won't come out with long/hot/strong PBW soaks. What are the alternatives to get them clean?

Did you try using the keg

Did you try using the keg cleaner we have? Use warm PBW (not hot, it'll mess up the pumps).

Run it for 10 mins and let me know how it goes.

Is the film from soda or beer

Is the film from soda or beer? If the latter it might be beerstone which will might require some type of acid soak.

I have not kept up on which

I have not kept up on which breweries we are still good friends with, but maybe one of our professional friends wouldn't mind us dropping them off and they can run some melt-your-skin-off caustic cleaner to try?
