Meetings always start with a bottle share and general socializing from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.
We will then have an informative part where the Board shares current and future club initiatives and projects. This is a great time to step up and volunteer to help (or lead!) if you are so inclined. The meeting is also an opportunity not only to meet other members and put faces to names (or, at least, usernames) but also to voice your opinion, suggestion, question, or comment.
Election Night!! Probably one of the more important meetings of the year! Definitley try to make it so you can help choose the new board!
Not in any attempt whatsoever to sway anyones vote, but I'll be bringing some Mexican Beer cheese soup and tortilla chips that we'll be making for Cerveza for everyone to try out. I know I may be up for the board and this beer cheese soup will be super delicious, but strike it from your mind when you are casting your ballot.
Ha! We live in Chicago, so that's an acceptable way to sway votes without attempting to sway votes.
