Local brewer and writer Randy Mosher will be leading a workshop at CHAOS called Recipes From the Inside Out. This will be similar to a talk he gave at National Homebrewers Conference, which has been called a highlight of the week.

Recipes From the Inside Out. Using flavor out come (rather than styles) as a guiding principal, Randy Mosher takes lessons from his long experience as a visual artist to help brewers use the "tools of art" to make more focused, unique, memorable and personally expressive beers. Along the way we'll look at ingredients, the organizing principals of art, strategies for managing complexity, techniques for ideation and practical tips for recipe formulation. Once you know how to build a beer for a particular flavor outcome, fitting into the targets of traditional beer styles is a piece of cake.
