Kulturküche Cooking Class: What's in a Bier?

19 November 2015 | 7:30 pm

Ever wondered why Germans are so good at making beer? Could it have something to do with the famous beer purity law they enacted in 1516? DANK Haus is exited to team up with Lincoln Square’s own Square Kegs Homebrew Club for an evening discussion of German beer styles, including a special presentation of all the necessary ingredients and a sampling of Square Kegs’ fresh Doppelbock beer! This unique class will include discussion with Square Kegs members about the process of beer making, an all-senses-involved look at the ingredients, and of course, a little history. Even better, we will pair the Doppelbock with savory, well-matched cheeses that complement its unique taste. You’re sure to get great ideas for your own beer and cheese pairings to enjoy at home and for entertaining. Don’t miss it!

$12 | Class fee includes demonstration, samplings, and one drink

The class will be held at DANK Haus at 4740 North Western Ave, Chicago IL 60625.  Tickets can be purchased on our website.  Please let me know if you have any questions, I appreciate you taking the time to read my email.
