Hey all,
After participating in the Lagunitas Homebrew Competition this spring, my name was selected out of all of the homebrewing entrants whose beer didn't win to go out to the Lagunitas brewery in Petaluma, California to help brew a beer for release in the Chicago market. I went to California with two other folks from the competition and we brewed a beer based on the recipe of the contest winner, Steve Kamp.
The beer has now finished fermenting, made its way out to Chicago, and will be released in approximately 100 bars. Lagunitas has generously invited Chaos members to help celebrate the beer's release at Murphy's Bleachers on July 23, 2012. Drop by, try the beer, and snack on some food imported all the way from Petaluma. If you're interested, be sure and respond to this event so that Lagunitas knows how much food they need to order.
