This is just a reminder to RSVP for the style session next Tuesday night. Please RSVP as soon as possible because I have to make a special trip to buy the beer (I plan on going this Saturday to buy it). If you RSVP after I buy the beer we will not have enough for everyone, this is expensive special beer so i dont want to over buy. We ran out of some beers during Old Ale night so lets not have that happen again. When you click on the event there is an option to say you are attending, that is how you RSVP.
Also, I currently have Jeff, Daniel, and Dave as having brewed for the AHA competition. if anyone else has a Old Ale they would like to submit please let me know. Plan on bring 4 bottles next Tuesday and having 2 in reserve to send in if you win.

I am planning on attending, along with a friend of mine. We were planning on bringing a Bigfoot or two, as well as a Uinta barrel aged barleywine. Is that cool, or is BYO-ing unadvisable for the BJCP events?

Its cool and much appreciated. It would be interesting if youcould get your hands on a nonbarreld unita (or a barreld bigfoot) so we could compare. not sure if they make that. Last time we had two differt years of fullers and it was gret to see what a difference a year makes.
I'll check to see if my buddy has/is willing to part with a 2011 Bigfoot so we can do a small vertical with the 2012.
I have no idea if Uinta makes a non-barrel-aged version. I just grabbed this bottle the last time I was at Whole Foods.
