Few Spirits Barrels

I contacted few spirits about purchasing one of there used barrels after seeing one being used at the brew house.  I was wondering if anyone had an oppinion about there barrels.

I was thinking about buying one of there 15 gal bourbon barrels.  What would be the process of getting a place to store this at the brew house?  I really want to get started on a beer for one does anyone want to help me get started?

I think its Adams. i think it

I think its Adams. i think it is empty too.

I am putting together a plan for how to organize the wall with barrels on it so we can get some work space as well as creating a bunch of room for barrels. But this project is on the backburner until the ferm room and hot water heater projects done. However if someone is willing to spearhead coming up with a plan and coordinating a build time I am more than willing to provide you with the resources and support to get it done.

Josh,

Josh,

Yeah, I had a beer in that barrel, and it's currently empty.  Having never used any other whiskey barrels, I can't compare it to anything else.  However, the beer that was in that barrel (a strong scotch ale) tasted fantastic when we bottled it.  So the quality is pretty good, AFAIK.
