CHAOS Beer/Food Pairing Fundraiser

The club was approached by the owner of a gift shop in Logan Square about holding a Father's Day themed beer and food pairing workshop in her store. She does this on a regular basis with arts and crafts types of things, but thought it would be cool to start doing beer related events. Here's a link to the store: https://www.shop1021.com/

Here's what we're looking to do:

- The event will be held at 5:00 pm - 7:00 pmish on Sunday, June 10th.

- We will provide five or six beer and food pairings. Since we're looking to do a Father's Day theme, the food portion of the pairings could be barbecue related. Of course, this is open to interpetation, but barbecue can also mean smoked meat, dry rubs, or even grilled vegetables.

- Club members who want to participate can team up to do the beer and food. We don't need a ton of beer or food. There will be a cap of 20 people taking the workshop, so 3-4 oz per person, plus small bites portions of the food to pair. (If you would like to participate, but needs suggestions on what to pair, I can help out with that.)

- For the event, I would do my cicerone thing to describe what's happening with the pairings, while the club members who brew/cook for the workshop would also attend to mingle with the attendees, talk about their beer and promote the club.

This will be strictly be a fundraiser for the club, so expenses for ingredients, etc will not be reimbursed.

- I'm thinking a donation of $30/person taking the workshop can bring in about $500 for the club, which is pretty decent for two hour fundraiser.

Please post below if you'd like to participate and definitely let me know if you have any questions.
