We are looking for homebrewers to compete in this years Beerfly Alleyfight. This is a beer/food/art pairing competition that is part of Chicago Craft Beer Week. Email [email protected] for more details. Thanks!
I wanted to bump this request for brewers with some updated information. The Beerfly Alleyfight event will take place on Saturday, May 19th at Metropolitan's tap room. They still have room for more homebrewers, so if interested, please contact the event coordinator Steve Mosqueda at [email protected].
For those of you not familiar with the event, here's what goes down. It's a friendly competition among homebrewers to brew a beer and pair it with a homemade food dish. In addition, each brewer is partnered with a local artist (comedian, musician, magician, short film maker, the list is endless) who will then create some kind of performance art based on the beer and food pairing. It's a super fun event! Nancy, Kyle, and I have participated in the past two years and had a blast.
Jeff, I'm up for doing this, but do we tell you or do we talk to the organizer?
Great! Talk to the organizer. Just shoot him an email at the address I posted above.
Since this competition is probably already #rigged, look forward to some hardcore fraudery representing Chaos.
Or I'll just submit the Coors clone.
