I just wanted to let everybody know that for some reason, in order to get the garage door open you have to hit * and # simultaneously after putting in the code. Otherwise the door wont open. Also thank Rich for figuring that out.

Thanks for posting Adam.
Out of curiosity, who changed the code and why wasn't the change posted to the site?
I don't think the code has been changed. I was there yesterday afternoon (~5) and it was the same as it's been - nothing weird necessary. There just must be a bug occurring or something.
I used the same code. It worked the first time when I first got there. Then, when I left and came back it would not open until after I hit the "#*" combination as well. I only tried it because I knew that usually shuts keypad doors from the outside. I thought it was a fluke, but then Adam sent me message saying he had the same problem, so I told him to try that I would say it is not a code issue, it is a problem with the keypad.
Yea i was putting the correct code in for 30 minutes yesterday and it wouldn't open. Then again this morning it also wouldn't open without the "*#"
We have a new keypad at the brew house and I will make sure to install it on Saturday.
Hopefully that will clear up this issue!
This morning (Saturday), I tried the code plus the # and * buttons simulatenously and it didn't work. Did it again, didn't work. Checked to make sure I wasn't having early onset dementia and had forgotten the code, but I had the right code. Tried it again, nothing. Started entering the code and while hitting the numbers the door went up. Its definitely dying.

I was there Friday and entered every itieration of code plus #* for 10 minutres until it magicallhy opened with the nomal code# on the 50th try. So it's fucked. So warning: no one should expect it to open (it might) for them unitl it is addressed.
The keypad has been replaced and the same code was used to ensure that it works correctly for the next two weeks.
At the September 20th meeting a new code will be chosen, programmed and the website updated.
Woot! Thank you, Ken!
