At the brewhouse racking to a keg, had previously used the sink but wasn't currently, when I heard the water heater roar to life and then one of the hoses from underneath came loose and sprayed water everywhere. I turned off the valve on both hoses feeding into the sink.
I'm on a tight schedule today and don't know anything about plumbing, in any case. You can turn on one of the hoses and get some water in the sink, but at a significantly reduced water pressure.

Unfortunately the fix didn’t hold for long. Matt and I tried a couple of measures to strengthen the fit, but nothing took. Not sure why it’s sudden.y failing now but I think the sense is it’s not really a trustworthy setup anymore - if it fails when no one is around we’ll have water flowing for who knows how long - so it’s left diisabled until a more secure setup is installed.
This means there’s only one sink in operation and effectively not cold water. Now if folks want to hook it up while there to get full use go ahead and try. But I’d disable it before you leave until a proper fix is in place.

Bummer. It seemed like a lot of pressure on that line, but I'm not sure what's normal with that booster. Maybe a better clamp or put a ratchet on it since screw tight doesn't hold. I'll see if I have time tomorrow to run to HD.
Yeah I tried cutting off 3/4” of the hose thinking maybe it was fatigued and double clamping it, but it really seemed to want to break loose. I think it needs a more sturdy clamping system and maybe the pressure is just too high but I’ll leave that to the more handy folks.
You guys want to look into running a copper line from above to the sink? We can put unions on it so it can still be disconnected and rolled out of the way for parties
Feel free to take a look at it Steve. The connections are underneath, which seems like it might be a challenge, but maybe not for someone who knows what they're doing. I think try to clamp the shit out of it first and then go from there. Or possibly get a threaded connector for the hose instead of trying to clamp it to the threads like it is now.
I'll stop at the club tonight to check on my award winning trappist and I'll look at the sink. Can likely drill between the two faucets to run the copper down and under. Be nice to get those hoses off the ground
