Attention Home Brewers and Home Brew Clubs…..
 
The Marseilles Area Society of Home brewers (M*A*S*H) would like to invite you to pour your clubs beers at the City of Ottawa’s Home Brew Festival at Midwest Morel Fest on May 3rd.  There will be no commercial beers, just lovely home brew. 
 
The City of Ottawa, on Rt 80 southwest of Chicago, wants to grow this to be the biggest Home Brew fest in the Midwest and are impressively working with us to obtain that goal and it's going to take us all to make that happen.  They are very open to great ideas and your input is welcomed! 
 
M*A*S*H has poured beer at a few festivals and we want nothing more than to build friendships with others that share our passion and introduce people to great beer.  This fest is an excuse to drink with our fellow clubs in a relaxed atmosphere while pouring beer for fest goers in lovely Ottawa, Illinois.

Here is what we know for sure…..

• There will be Best of Show awards highlighting the best beers from each club and the BEST BEER of the fest picked by City Officials and Coordinators.
• There will be a Best Club picked by fest patrons.  Best beers, best booth, best attire will probably all come into play and the Best Club will receive the prestigious fest traveling trophy.  Display this in your club shrine for one year and if you’re good….  You may get it for another year.
• If you bring a keg of beer, you will get to drink for free.
• Tables and ice will be provided and we will be under a tent.
• Watching the Mayor and his minions drink your beer at 10AM ... will be priceless !
