What type of Cara, Steve? 10L

What type of Cara, Steve? 10L, 20L? And what's the volume of your strike water? And that's 6 gallons in the fermenter?

It should be noted you'll need lactic Acid & we don't have that at the BH any longer (or at least to my knowledge)

Sorry Brandon CARA-pils/

Sorry Brandon CARA-pils/ Dextrine
Strike will be 13 Quarts batch sparge with 13 quarts. Yes 6 in the fermenter. Actually doing a 12gallon batch but divided #s into 2 to make it easier.

I believe I have some Lactic at home

2 ways to do this: Non fancy

2 ways to do this: Non fancy (just lactic) & Fancy (gypsum, calcium chloride, & lactic).

Non fancy:
3.8ml Lactic Acid to your mash + 0.6ml Lactic per gallon of sparge water

Fancy:
MASH: Gypsum: 1.0 grams | Calcium Chloride: 0.8 grams | Lactic Acid: 3.2ml
SPARGE: 0.6ml Lactic per gallon of kettle
KETTLE (add these minerals to your kettle after you've sparged. This is a seperate addition on top of the minterals added to mash): Gypsum: 1.9 grams | Calcium Chloride: 1.5 grams
