C-Type Hops

Trying to gauge interest here.  Is anyone interested in "Centennial type" hops?  They are a 70/30 blend of Cascade and Columbus.  They were produced by Hop Union to address the shortage in Centennial hops.  I've used them before and they are come pretty close to centennial, but not exact.  In thiere own right, I think this blend is a pretty good combo.  I've used these hops for bittering and late additon plenty of times...but only once as a dry hop during a hop sensory expierment.

I have a lot of these hops and am willing to part with them for cheap just to make room for other hops we have coming in.  Bells homebrew shop sells them for $18.00 a pound.  I can do $9.00/lb.  My only stipulation is that the minimum amount I will do is 1 pound.  If you are interested 2# or more, I can do $8.00/lb.  These are t-90 pellets...not sure on the alpha yet...somewhere between 9.5% and 11.5%.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Good timing Lucas.  I had to

Good timing Lucas.  I had to order a new vacuum sealer...the old one doesnt vacuum.  That came in on Friday.  I checked the Alpha on the hops they are 8.5% AAU and smell great.  I used another box this weekend in a stout.  I've basically been using them to bitter all the beers I've done lately...but I also dry hopped an IPA with this batch.  That came out nice.

I'm gonna break open the 11 pound box and put them into 1# bags this week.  The bags are food saver bags and can be resealed after opening if you have a sealer.  I'll be purging these bags with a 60/40 Nitrogen/Co2 mix.  They should be good for a long time if keept cold in a freezer.

I've summarized the replies/requests here...if your order has changed - please let me know before the end of the week. Once gain the price is $9 for 1# and $8 for anything above 1 #, per pound.

Evan Smith - 2# - $16

Bill Sansom - 2# - $16 - Paid

Daniel - 1# - $9 - Paid

Kyle - 1# - $9 - Paid

Lucas - 1# - $9 - Paid

Jonas - 1# - $9 - Paid

Josh S. - 1# - $9 - Paid

Chuck - 1# - $9 - Paid

Mark Walters - 1# - $9 - Paid

Adam York - 1# - $9 - Paid

I'll leave this open to anyone else that would like some hops.  I'll bring them to the meeting on Sunday 11/24.  You can pay me then or you may chase quick pay me.  Either works.

(No subject)

I packaged up all the hops tonight.  They are all a little heavy (your welcome).  I left my digital scale at work so I had to use the old dial scale.  I made sure each package was over a pound.  I'll bring the hops to this weeks meeting.  I can also leave a package in the freezer at the club, if you've paid and can not make the meeting.
