Just as a heads up the other weekend I grabbed all my grains from the brewhouse. Since Jess and I have a house, we really don't need the storage space at Chaos.
Thanks for the spot and feel free to pass it on to a worthy soul in need.
I attended the last Brew 101 class in May and I need to return to add the amarillo hop soon I believe. Also, I can't seem to find the recipe I was given. I'm a newbie so help? Will anyone be there on Saturday or Sunday of this weekend? Thanks!
My schedule's pretty tight for the next couple of weeks. I've carved out some time tonight (the only night I can get to the brewhouse) to head down to the brewhouse, lend a quick hand, and keg a saison.
This may be a long-shot but will there be anyone there this evening who can fit two kegs and my bike in their vehicle and give me a lift back to Logan Square (Palmer & Kedzie)? If not, I guess I'll just leave my bike down there and cab it back home with the kegs.
i really want to brew tomorrow auround 11 Am or noon. My brewer friend Marco will be there to help me, so I won't need any help. I just don't have access yet. He only has tomorrow off and I have had a crazy schedule. If anyone can help get me access tomorrow I would be super great ful:)
For the first time since our first hop group buy way way way back, I'm out of hops. It's been awhile, so I'm out of the loop on where to get good prices. What's everyone having luck with?
There have been quite a few questions that have come up regarding barreling at CHAOS, mostly about how new barrels can get added. As CHAOS does not currently have a policy surrounding barrels I think we need to open it up for discussion. A few general points about barrels:
I was in Capone's the other day. He has a Chaos sticker on his register. A fellow member I was with asked if he was a partner of ours. He said he wasn't but expressed interest in becoming one. It's a good shop, and a place we could potentially hold bottle shares or tastings for recruitment puposes. Thoughts?
