"Having a local brewery create a beer in collaboration with an independent restaurant is nothing new, but this is the first time it’s happened on a national scale."
Great job Jessica, Chris & Ken! Your beers were excellent! Also a big thanks to everyone else as usual. Daniel, you might want to save a glass for him :)
After a successful BrewBQ I want to share some information that has been in the works for a little bit and now have enough info to share with all. I'm proud to let everyone know that CHAOS will be hosting a Chicago Ideas Week Lab event this year! If you are not familiar with Chicago Ideas Week (CIW) check out chicagoideas.com, but basically it's an annual event that brings the best and brightest together to showcase Chicago as an inspirational and actionable city that drives communities to do great things.
The Brew-BQ is upon us this Saturday and we do not have enough volunteers signed up yet to make it happen. We are especially short on staff during the event. Please help out by signing up for a spot. We need this event to be successful to help facilitate the move!
Does anyone have a couple extra kegs Dave can fill with some Horse Thief Hollow beer for this weekend? If you do can you drop them off at the brewhouse today or tomorrow?
Related, we need more beer for this party. we are soliciting donations from anyone we have a good relationship with. Conrad is talking to Ale Syndicate, Evan is talking to Aleman. I heard someone asked Buckledown at the meeting on Sunday.
Is there anyone else we can reach out to? And if we have to purchase some kegs, would any of our partners agree to giving them to us at cost?
