I'm leaving tomorrow for Athens, GA to start a new job. It's been great getting to know a few of you, and best of luck with the new space. I only started brewing last November, and the club/brew house has just been an incredible resource for hands-on experience with a rotating cast of good people around to help you out here and there. Thanks especially to Adam, Dave, James, Chuck, Conrad, Jeff, and Lucas for the pointers.
I get that we are moving out during the next week, but the brew house has degenerated into a shit hole over the past month. People are still using the space for brewing and bottling. When I came in today to bottle, the sink was full of dirty glasses, the sink counter and tables are caked with wort and hops, and there was a puddle of something on the ferm room floor by its entrance. This is completely unacceptable. And the brew house has been in this condition the past four times I've been there. Please clean up after yourselves.
I had my own personal disaster last night when my primary fermenter fell off of one of the cleaning stations and dispersed itself into a billion pieces over the floor.
My only option was to borrow a 6 gallon fermenter that was on the wash sink, it had a red piece of tape around the neck. Currently, it is in the ferm room with 5.5 gallons of my beer in it. Please PM me and I can work out how to get you an identical fermenter faster than 10 days (I have one that is coming out of primary in 1-2 days).
Although I'm the treasurer, I have absolutely no clue as to how to prepare taxes for either our current Not For Profit entity or for our potential 501(c)(3) entity. I think for the former it's form 1120; for the latter it's 990.
I would like to learn how to do this so, ideally, we work through it together so that I can do it in subsequent years. Less ideally, but also perfectly acceptable, is I hand over all our receipts, bank statements, and whatever else you need, and you just do it for us.
I need to get into the brew space tomorrow to bottle up a bunch of beer. Is anyone available to let me in and hang for a few hours? My number is 810.624.3093. Thanks.
I have a small oak table (all wood) that I can donate to the club. It is 30" x 50". Is there an interest to be used at the club? It is in good shape we just no longer have the room for it.
So I know several of you have talked to me about recent login issues on both the desktop and mobile sites. I think I finally figured out what the issue was on this last night. Needless to say it was a wierd interaction with a few parts of our server infrastructure that was confusing Drupal.
