Cider season is coming up and I just wanted to start a thread to get some awareness going.  I've got a couple interesting things to bring on this.

Hey Brewsters, we need participants for the School Series for our upcoming Summer BrewBQ Sat Aug 13.

Boollish and Struck have agreed to use a Tuesday Brewsday to create a big batch of kettle side sour, then we would divide the base beer up and let people add fruit, herbs, and/or spices.

This seems like the most practical way to do a Beer School Series on sours in time for the party. I guess if others have sours to share we could open it up.

Hey Guys. There was a request to broadcast on the webpage when aren't going to use a reserved brewspace. I know my reservation is pretty much up, but I just wanted to say its my fault for not doing this sooner. I had 2 reserved for Josh and I (maybe he still used them, so it's ok), but I had an emergency last night (friend shattered a tooth and it was kinda my fault: piggy backride went bad). And I've just finished supporting that.

I will try to be better about announcing in the future if I have to cancel a space.

As many of you know, notification emails from the site have been broken for a couple weeks. I just tweaked a setting that may have fixed it, and I'd like to apologize if you just got a flood of backlogged emails. Based on the activity log for the website, it looks like it sent about 150 messages that had been waiting in the queue—or at least, it tried to. I wasn't the recipient on any of them so I can't confirm whether or not they actually worked.

Anyway, if that didn't work, I'm hoping that one of us will have time to look into it in the next week or so.

Does anyone have a spare keg at the brewhouse I could please borrow for the week?

I will return it cleaned by early next week.
