Have 2 tickets to Revolution's Oktoberfest Session 3, Saturday afternoon for sale at face value, $90 for the pair which includes a stein, and some other stuff. There is some small print about showing the credit card used for purchase when entering, my wife is awaiting a response from Revolution to make sure we can easily and smoothly transfer ownership to someone else because we can't make it, I'll be sure to include that email printed with the tickets to ensure safe passage into the event. First one gets them.
Was brewing at the brehouse today & the internet doesn't work. I think this was brought up before? Connecting to the router works fine, but no internet. I tried unplugging the modem for 5 minutes and turning it back on with no luck.
I'm guessing that Hoptacular 2015 will not be happening this year, as no one has been contacted and their website is not up-to-date. We would normally be brewing the weekend of Riot Fest for the homebrew competition.
Just wondered if anyone heard anything different. I'll shoot Marty an email since he normally coordinated the competition.
I was at the brew house earlier today kegging and I saw that the counterflow chiller bucket was full of water, and there was another bucket full of something as well - it smelled like a mix of beer and shame. And the water to the green hose was left on. Seriously how hard it it to clean up after yourself? Who knows how long that water was running.
Like Ken stated in an earlier post, standing water attracts flies. These 2 buckets did just that.
I'm currently looking at restaurant spaces and I'd like to have 12 beers on tap, if possible. Can someone recommend a draft system installation company? I'd appreciate it, thank you.
On the off chance that someone sees this in the next hour or two: anybody got a keg in the kegerator that can come out till Friday? I see a couple that are lagering and a couple that aren't tapped. Just want to carb mine up for next weekend.
The pump on the chiller doesn't want to turn off. While chilling my beer this evening, the pump stayed on after switching it off. I unplugged it after cleaning up, so it didn't turn back on over night. I'll be stopping by during the day to pick up some stuff that I left behind overnight. The pump is unplugged at the chiller should you need it.
I was the first one in the brewhouse this morning (Saturday) and was stunned at how amazingly clean the place was! Just outstanding. A big giant shout-out to Matthew Gagne for doing such a great job of cleaning up last night!
