Goose Island Beer Academy @ Clybourn Tomorrow Wed 3/25

Goose Island has asked me to be a part of their Beer Academy series this Wednesday (tomorrow night). This month they are featuring Women in craft beer. They'll have other beers there that were either brewed by women, breweries owned by women or women at the helm of craft beer. I'll be bringing some of my beers brewed at CHAOS (French Kiss — Belgian Saison with lavender and lemon thyme 6% abv and Raving Banshee — Russian Imperial Stout 11% abv) for sampling.
Please come out, mingle with fellow craft enthusiast​ists, taste some beers, and support women in craft!

 

 

Headquarters Firkin Fest 2015

Headquarters is having their 2015 Firkin Fest at the River North location on March 29th.  This looks pretty freaking cool with 50 different firkins and food.  Since we're partners, Headquarters has provided us with a code for $10 off the ticket price.  Tickets are currently $65 through March 2nd. The code is Chaos10.

Battle for the Paddle Homebrew Competition

Open Mic/Ro Nite @ Beermiscuous

Hi, all. I know Wing Nite conflicts with Beermiscuous' Open Mic/Ro Nite but the latter is an event we co-host with Beermiscuous (i.e., we should continually have some kind of presence at Open Mic/Ro Night). So, if anyone can spare an hour-and-a-half and a few bombers, please go and represent us!

24th Annual Charlie Orr Memorial Chicago Cup Challenge

The site has gone live for this year's Charlie Orr competition, which is held by our friends in BOSS.  If you can make it out to the south suburbs, I highly recommend volunteering to judge or steward.  Of course, submit beer, too!
