This Saturday we will be having our monthly open house it is going to be an exciting day.
There will be an all grain brewing class from 9-3, where I will be specifically discussing water modification as it relates to pale beers and lagers, doing a yeast rinsing demonstration, and generally explaining a direct fire mash system (RIMS).
Around 3, the Bourbon County barrel is going to get filled, come try a bit before it goes in.
I think we are all booked up in terms of brewing space, unless you bring a propane tank and brew outside!
The green grocer, Grand and Noble by the brewhouse, is having a hog roast in their back lot. $10 for beer and food, come on over and joIn me if you're around the area!
So I'm out in Conneticut at a friend's wedding searching for some northeast brews myself but I may be passing through a place in Pittsburgh that has Russian River sours and Hair of the Dog. Also I will be passing by the Hops Shack which has some great prices on hops so if anybody wants me to pick some up for them let me know.
