Hey there, I just wanted to introduce myself. My girlfriend was kind enough to get me a membership as she knew I was looking for a new place to brew. I’m excited to meet some new people who share the same passion as me. I’m a lawyer by day so Brewing is a way to work my creative side and challenge me. I have been brewing since college and I’m looking to get my three supervised brews done as soon as possible. I’m planning on attending Saturday’s event so I️ look forward to meeting some of y’all.
The big garage door started getting stuck today. Although I hear it might have started over the wekend. The door will start to go up and then stop after 4".
Not sure if it's weather realted but a pro should come out to look at it.
You can help open the door with slight lifting, but that might be hard to do for some while operating the key pad from the outside.
At the brewhouse, we use the most popular sanitizing product for homebrewers - StarSan, produced by Five Star Chemicals. Its great, easy and safe to use. I noticed in our basement that I have quite a bit of another sanitizing product, the second most popular for homebrewers, called Iodophor.
Steven and I just put in the final approvals for t-shirts! They said their expected completion date is 7 - 10 working days from now. The plan is that I'll label the ones for local CHAOS members and leave them at the brewhouse for you. Then I'll prepare mailing labels and packets for everyone else and pop them in the mail.
Its ridiculous to be this excited about a tshirt, but I really am looking forward to seeing them.
