We are looking to set up a sound system at the brewhouse for this Saturday's Stout & Chili Night. It would be ideal to have an amplifier that run six speakers, or at least four.
Does anyone have an amplifier and speakers they could donate to the club? Can you volunteer later this week to help set up a sound system?
We have a couple of less than ideal options for the party this Saturday, but if someone is sitting on some gear they don't need, it would be awesome to get a better stereo in the brewhouse long term.
I'm working with some friends to open a small music venue / restuarant in the Pilsen / bridgeport / mckinley park area and we'd love to feature an exclusive craft beer and if possible, a small batch distillery to make custom whiskey / scotch or gin.

Has anyone seen my bench capper? It use to be put in the back of the office behind the computer. Now there's a weird looking bench capper back there. Did someone move it? Borrow it?
Yesterday when I was brewing the furnance wasn't turning on only blowing out cold air. Evan stopped by to pick up the soon to be Grain mill cabinet and was at a loss as to why it wasn't working as well.
January is a bit crazy for me but some time during February I plan on visiting more places for us to partner with. If you want, help me create a list of places I can approach in February (if no one helps out the Membership Committee and takes care of it before then), and I'll be sure to approach the potential partners on the list you help create first before I branch out and approach others.
The meeting began @ 4:30 PM. The first item discussed was an inventory of the brew house. As space is at a premium, redundant equipment should be removed.
Membership is currently 30 brewers, 8 apprentices, and 18 friends. This brings out income about even to our expenses.
We are now fully moved to the new website, Ning is being canceled immediately. Ning is now an unnecessary expense.
