Brewing Calendar - Get out of your usual rut!

I know sometimes I get comfortable brewing the same staples over and over, and I often get caught not prepared with the proper beers for the season! Attached is a calendar from Northern Brewer reminding you what can brew throughout the year so your beers will be ready for the appropriate season (also what you can be drinking).

This is similar to the wheel that Steven made for Stylin' Sundays (though much less visually appealing). Speaking of Steven ... when can I order a Stylin' Sundays shirt?!

Kettle Souring at the Brew House

Hi all,

I have a brew in my que that's a kettle sour.  I'll probably need 24-36hrs in a pot with Lacto.

Any suggestions on how to plan this?   Part 1 is about a 1hr brew day, mash and add lacto.

Then 24-48hrs will need constant heat to maintain 80 degrees.  I can do this with a heat blanket.

The following brew day runs like a regular 5hr brew day.

My concern is tying up a brew station or a pot for 24-36hrs.

Lager Fridge reservation sheet

Hey guys I updated the Lager fridge reservation sheet to be current to todays date. The previous version still had march 2016 dates listed and you had to scroll all the way down to get to a new reservation. Hopefully its easier for everyone to use and then people start using it again. I'm pretty sure there is more than just Mark's 2 beers in the fridge...

Anyway, I moved the old sheet to a new tab 'Reservations - Archive' as I didnt know if we wanted to keep the data around for historical usage/analytics, etc. If no one cares about that kind of stuff we can remove it.
