Hey everyone
I was planning on brewing a lager today, but the fridge is set at 26 degrees Celsius!!! (78 Fahrenheit)
I'm going to put it back at lager yeast temp unless there is a reason it's so high. I don't imagine it will cool down
In time so I'll brew another day.
I have a brew that will be ready for bottling but I'm not a 'brewer' and don't have an access code. Would anyone be free Saturday morning to help me bottle/be available to let me in so I can bottle? I have Saturday off so anytime Saturday would work. Thanks!
As many of you know, I've been dating a lady in Seattle for some time now. I'll be leaving Chicago and moving out there in about a week and a half, and wanted to make sure I have a chance to see everyone before I go.
Could someone please put the 18th street keg in the keezer so we can finish it off and I can get the keg back to the brewery. I know Matt is planning on having a Super Bowl party at the BH so hopefully it can be finished off this weekend. The keg is in the fridge behind the bar.
There is a boat load of the chaos house chili left. I made 12 gallons of it and we ended up having enough competition chili to last us for most of the night. Anyway, Chaos dropped some dollars on making this chili and we don't want it to go to waste! So stop on in to the brew house and heat yourself up some.
I moved it to a smaller pot and its in the lagering fridge but we still have about 7 gallons left. So come on in, maybe do a little cleaning(?), and enjoy as much chili as your bellies can handle.
I seen someone posted on facebook we need some skids for the band. I have a driver dropping off a couple by the back door today. if someone is around to toss them in so no one takes them. They'll be there by noon
I brewed a Gose style beer on December 12, 2016 and it is ready to be bottled. I was inquiring whether anyone would be at CHAOS this week of January 23 to January 29 to supervise my bottling of this beer? I have the bottles and carbonation drops for the bottling. Thanks for your consideration on this matter and looking forward to your response.
After a couple folks have changed their plans, we now have two seats available for the January 28th BJCP Beer Judging Examination. The exam will begin at 10:30, last 1 1/2 hours and be held in the south Loop at Motor Row Brewing.
