Hey all, I met a few of you at the Harvest party, and look forward to getting to know more of you when I move up to Chicago in July.
Any who, I serve on a non-profit board here in OKC called Heartline 211. We have an annual fund raiser going on through Feburary 11th (2-11, get it?). To incentivize folks to donate I've put together a little prize box from my beer cellar (also got some other beer nerds to chip in on prizes, as well as a local OK distributor).
So that's where you come in: wanna win some tasty beer? wanna help a great cause?
Kris Blouch beat me to it, I was just going over this in my head, logged in and saw he was already asking. So Here it is, first Congrats to Kyle on running an excellent Coffee School and hooking us up with Dark Matter, that ran smoothly, the beers were great, good stuff all around. On to business. We need suggestions, volunteers/nominations.
For those of you who didn't hear yet, Mash Tun Journal will be featuring CHAOS and CHAOS members in their Spring issue. They are working on a piece about the "diaspora" of CHAOS. It will profile many CHAOS brewers past and present, with pictures, anecdotes, and maybe even recipes. It will prominently feature CHAOS brewers who now work as a professional brewers in the U.S. The release party will be right here at CHAOS on March 19, 2016.
Special thanks to Darren and Sean for giving up their sunday afternoon to clean up.
As a note:
We have about 20 kegs that need to be taken home. We've left them piled up in the brewhouse, but please come by and pick up your stuff as soon as possible so it doesn't get lost.
