In case you haven't seen, the BH front room is under construction. The brewing area is a mess. While you can still brew, it will be cramped with more than 2 bays in use. If you're looking to brew, I'd do it next week when construction is finished.
Hi, all. As the membership person, I was going to extend an invite to everyone who have cancelled their membership in the past year to Stout & Chili Night. But, I wanted to offer them a *no* cost way to check out the club and specifically our brew house before they commit to any kind of membership again.
Could someone please host or help host an Open Haus on Saturday, January 3rd, 10th, or 17th?
I forgot that today Freddy and myself will be helping at a charity event where we donated some beer which is why I had to cancel my brew day. However, I wanted to ask if I could grab some business cards that are by the bar in case people ask about where we learned how tro brew and where. There will be other brewers and potential members that I wanted to hand out some business cards. Who would I pay or ask for the cards?
I left my regualtor in Michigan over the weekend and to avoind having it sent back to me I am wondering if anyone has a spare I can borrow for the month?
I need one steward for the competiton we are hosting on Saturday morning. The commitment would be from 7:30am to 1pm, includes free hot breakfast and lunch. It is a good way to learn how homebrew competitons work and gain some experience needed to become a judge. It is at Derby Bar and Grill in Lincoln Park.
Reply here or send me a PM if you can make it. Thanks,
Hello fellow Alchemists. Canuck and I are planning on brewing our wood shop beers tomorrow at 1. If anyone with more TOP experience than I is available to come hang and give us a few pointers that would be helpful, I was trained on it during our Hoptacular brew, but due to circumstances my retention of that lesson wasn't all it should have been... Just let me know, If not I'll either download the manual for a refresher or just brew on a regular bay. Thanks, and have a good holiday.
