Random Question: Access to a planer/jointer

So, my wife and I have designs at building a table out of reclaimed lumber. We've bought the lumber and had it cut to the appropriate length, but now we need to plane it (at the very least). The jointing I think we could manage with a table saw--which I believe we could rent.

BUT If someone had access to a planer/jointer/table saw or any combination of these things, that would be amazing. The boards we have are about 94" long and about 8" wide.

Lauren is hosting a birthday cookout for my 30'th birthday this Saturday @ 6PM at the brewhouse. (She tried to make this post but Lucas' new super effective spam filter trapped her.) 

Anyway - we'll be cooking on the grill and drinking plenty of homebrew & craft all the while Lauren reminds me how much younger and better looking she is than I now that I'm out of my 20s. All are welcome, please stop on by if you can.

There is a leaky pipe above brew station 1. Slow drip but needs to be addressed quickly. It started at 10:30 Saturday morning. 

Favor From Someone Going To Grand Rapids

I wonder if someone could do me a favor on their way up to Grand Rapids.  I have a friend who's coming from the east coast who would like to try Gumballhead and Zombie Dust.  I'm currently out of town flying directly into Grand Rapids later today, could someone pickup a six pack of each for me?  I'll pay ya back or can quick-pay you ahead of time if that's easier.  If you can, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks!

Tues.Brews last night, grain bin's full, and July host

Last night we made a special beer: Zombie, Hail Mary! 

There is no style, it is a mutt. It came back from the dead of a 4% ABV to the monster it is now. Zero impact on the club's ingredients. Here are the basics:

OG: 1.073

Color: black as night

Grain: 17# with 37% being specialty (rye, wheat, carafa III, crystal, munich, roast barley, you name it)

Hops: over 1/2 # total. Warrior, EKG, Citra, Norther brewer, UK challenger (?)

Yeast: Safale English Ale x2 packs

 

Call for Misc. Ingredients/Kegs (Club beer)

We have a fair amount of beer for the keezer/events in the pipeline, so I am going to make some different, bigger beer. 

I am going to make a big ass "kitchen sink" beer today as we have a ton generously donated grain from Jim, Nancy, Rusty, etc. that is collecting dust.

First request: if you have misc. hops, yeast, whatever you're not using, please let me know as I can and will use it. The club has funds budget towards this but a number of you have said you have stuff to donate and I would rather use that for the beer today.
