As part of the new website there's a couple of places that I'd like to put some featured images and I'm looking for everyone here to help me find some. What I'm looking for is original photos that look good or are representative of the club, such as great photos from Cinco, Ides, Stout Night, Sensory Classes, etc. I'm also looking for pictures of people brewing in the house and anything else you think represents CHAOS.
As a side note, I've been through the gallery here on the ning site, but the images have been scaled down to smaller than the size I need.
I just wanted to thank everyone that brewed a beer, donated their time, and helped out at the event. Because of ALL OF YOU it was a huge success...It could of not got done, or been as successful had everyone not participated. So many of you helped out so much, whether it was running for ice, mowing the lawn, breaking down the stage, and washing dishes...the list goes on and on...
Additionally I am extremely grateful to the Alchemists for trusting in me and getting 100% of their support to do the things I wanted to do....
During the cleanup on Saturday I brought my two hop plants into the brew house and set them on one of the shelves. I didn't realize that I had forgotten them until I was already home. I was hoping to stop by and pick them up. Please let me know if anyone will be around during the week so I can meet you there.
So....looking at the schedule, I went through and picked places that were relatively near to me (so I could get there on a weeknight without an insane CTA commute (driving is out of the question). That's my plan of attack.
I'm wondering what you all feel are "must see" venues/beers, though.
I was at a IT/hacker conference this weekend and talking with a few guys who are have been looking at using some currently available board designs to build some an open source brew controller. Additionally, hack-a-day featured an arduino controlled brewery brewery a few days ago (http://hackaday.com/2012/04/19/automated-beer-brewing/) and could be a good start for Arduino sketches and designs.
