Corny kegs for sale from Corny Keg Depot. I got some for Adam and myself Saturday. Dude's in Elgin, nice guy, good kegs, he even throws in a set of gaskets. He stores them under pressure, so you you can be confident they hold pressure when you get them. I'm making another run next Saturday, he has another pallet of 100, they go FAST!!!!!!! Contact him via Corny Keg Depot on Facebook or cornykegman@gmail.com immediately to get on the list. I'll pick them up for you or you can ride with me.
Moved my Maibock from the lager fridge to the ferm room for a lil' Diecetyl rest. I forgot my blowoff tube and my Erlenmeyer flask I was using as a blowoff receptacle in the lager fridge. I'll move it tomorrow. Sorry it causes any inconvenience for anyone.
I'm really excited to announce a special partnership between Gino's East and CHAOS.
Noah Himmel of Gino's East bought and revamped the LaSalle Power Company over at 500 N. LaSalle for which his vision is "everything Chicago" and he took a shine to CHAOS when he was at a Wing Nite a while back. His "everything Chicago" vision of course includes local/Chicago beer but more specifically itincludes CHAOS Brew Club members' beers!
I'm beginning to slowly accumulate the necessary items for my very own keezer. In the interest of "standing on the shoulders of giants" I thought I'd ask for advice from those that've built before me. It looks like I'll be using a 7 cu ft. GE, as they appear to be a reasonable price, a reasonable size for my apartment, and well-made trusted brand that won't break immediately after I void the warranty keezer-fying it. I'm probably gonna go with 3 taps. So here are my questions/thoughts, all advice and wisdom in such matters is welcome.
