For those of you, who have not taken the BJCP tasting exam already... any of you interested in starting a small study group for taking the BJCP this Summer? There are a few opportunities for taking the exam... Either at AHA Conference in June or in Chicago in Aug, date TBD.
Let me know. Would love to start meeting right away, since AHA is only 5 months away, and need to take online exam prior. I'm thinking maybe 2-3 times a month to meet? We can rotate meetup locations and beer buying/sampling. I have some blank score sheets to make copies for practice tastings too.

A few minutes into brewing today the gas line coming from the wall into burner #3 caught fire... Well gas coming from somewhere did. I have shut it off and left a note not to use it for the time being. I tightened the main attachment point at the burner as well. I am not sure if the leak is coming from somewhere else along the line, but it would probably be wise to have someone take a look at it.

Yep, I'm that annoying, yet hopeful-optimistic, so called "blogger"... Eh, I like telling a story. I'm trying to kick-off a new blog, about, you, the home brewer. I personally, have not brewed anything on my own. I'm a rookie to the extensive world of craft beer. Nonetheless, I'm like every other person who's first experience with beer was that corner isle beer that's on sale at Jewel, that we'll probably use for beer pong, and swore that I would never actually like drinking beer for sport.
