My fermentors went wild today and one of them had a small accident from what Eric Franklin told me. He stopped in today to check on his brew and saw mine having some issues and making a small mess on the floor. He was kind enough to clean it up and repalce the blow offs. Just wantto publically say thanks to him for saving the beer & being kind enough to take care of it for me.
I'll be in tomorrow to take care of any additinoal cleanup incase anyone else is brewing or using the ferm room tomorrow and there happens to be a mess remaining.
Hi all. My friend has made wine once before and wanted to know if he could make it at our club, if he joined? I know he would be held accountable to our cleaning requirements and all, but would making/fermenting wine at the club be an issue?
I installed our new regulator last night on the Keezer when I turned on the gas I got 2 massive leaks on lines 1 and 2 so if you have a keg on line 1 or 2 you need to look at your keg and fix it.
Girlfirend will be getting new appliances in February and needs these gone. The fridge and stove are the same as what we have now. The microwave is above-range. Does the club want these? We would need to pickup from Rogers Park.
If anyone is going to be at the brewhouse today or tomorrow could you sanatize and put a cap bak on my fermentor? I am apparently blowing off (forgot the ferm cap, stupid, sorry) and I cant make it there anytime soon.
In a few recent discussions about recipes I brought up brown malt, and it seems relatively unknown, but it's fast becoming one of my favorite malts, readily available at brew and grow, it just seems to add a lot of flavor, so I thought I'd share some info on it.
Eric and I left last tonight and on our way out a tow truck driver let us know that our parking spaces were metra property and subject to being towed after 2 am. I let him know this wasn't known to us and our landlord hadnt presented the situation as such. He didn't care. We tried calling chuck and a few other people to let them know.
We might want to have a discussion with landlord about parking. These are apparently not our spots. News to me.
I know we had at least 2 #25 bags of ice in the freezer leftover from Haunted Harvest...does anyone know if they are still there? I was going to use them to ice beers at tonights bottle share.
