CHAOS is serving two beers at the Lo Rez first anniversary festival, this Saturday 3 - 9 pm. Hey Chaos! There's an upcoming "pop-up" art show happening at Dovetail Brewery from 6-10pm on Saturday, 6/9. I've been selected as 1 of 35 local artists to exhibit my work, which includes watercolors, plasterwork and fabric printing. It's my first show and it would be awesome to see some Chaos members come out! The event will feature live music, complimentary appetizers, and a cash bar. I stopped by today to check on a beer and had a stupid issue leaving. The garage door would not shut (up and down you know.) It seemed to me someone threw some wood in that entry corner and the door sensor was knocked off its proper mark. It took 20 minutes to realign and it's tenuous for sure.
So, the same group that puts on the Great Lakes Brew Fest in Racine, is putting on this festival in Kenosha on August 4th, and it appears they also have a Homebrew Club component. It also also a chance to reign supreme over the land of cheese on their home turf. There is even a 5k before the fest for those who aren't right in the head. Josh from Beer the Band is 30 years old this week, and we're throwing him a Bday party at CHAOS this Saturday with green screen Karaoke fun in the front bar, feel free to join us.
Josh and I will be putting a keg on the keezer. We brewed a pretty darn good pilsner, so it's bound to kick quick. If anyone else has a Cerveza donation for the party, let me know.
