Hey CHAOS! 

There's a great BJCP competition around the corner - Brixtoberfest! Put on by the Brixie's Brewers, this is a small(ish) competition that still rewards its BOS winner the opportunity to ramp-up their award-winning beer at the pro-scale with Imperial Oak Brewing. 

When: Saturday, October 7th, 2017

Where: Brixie's Beer Bar and Grill, 9526 West Ogden Ave, Brookfield, IL

Beer in the Woods

So, we're going to be pouring at a beer festival called Beer in the Woods on September 30th. I have all the info on a calendar event: https://www.chaosbrewclub.net/event/beer-woods

We will be the only home brew club featured at the event, which is pretty cool. One thought I wanted to throw out there is that we do a beer school for it. Or, we could just brew whatever.

In addition to a CHAOS booth, they are also looking for volunteers to pour at the other beer stands.

CHAOS at the Audubon Society

The club has again been invited to pour our beer at a fundraiser. This time it's for the Chicago Audubon Society. The fundraiser will be held at Sol Cafe in Rogers Park on Saturday, July 29th from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

They have asked us to bring three beers for the event. Mike Struck will be providing a witbier, so we'll need two more. Please post below if you'd like to donate a batch.

Mike Struck and Todd Stewart have volunteered to set up and serve our beer.

CHAOS at Nacho Fest

The club has been invited to serve our beer at the 1st Annual Nacho Fest on Sunday, June 25th. It'll be held at Chop Shop/1st Ward at 2033 W North Ave. Three club members will be provided with VIP passes to attend and pour for the club. We will need to provide three full five gallon kegs of beer for the event. 

Jayson has volunteered to brew a beer and pour for the event. He needs two more volunteers to pour and at least one more beer. (Kyle may be able to brew one on Monday.)

CHAOS Comes to Beermiscuous

Our friends at Beermiscuous are being amazing and have invited us to pour CHAOS beer and promote the club at their bar on Monday, May 22nd from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. We'll be serving a Tuesday Brewsday Tripel and Stylin Sundays White IPA.

This is obviously an amazing opportunity to promote the club and bring in new members. If you can stop by, please do so! We get a 10% discount! And wear your CHAOS workshirt!
